Copying isn’t nice and copyright infringement is a Federal offense.
Copyright is a property right. Under the Federal Copyright Act of 1976 (effective January 1, 1978 and
amended when the USA joined the Berne Convention in 1989), photographs are protected by
copyright from the moment of creation.
This protection is automatic and applies whether the photographer puts a copyright mark on the
images or not, so please do not reproduce any professionally produced images, especially ours. We
make every effort to give you high quality photographs at a fair price; unlawful reproduction simply
drives up prices for everyone.
It is illegal to copy, scan, reproduce, distribute or duplicate in any way the images created by Story
Tellers Photography LLC. Violation of copyright will result in federal copyright enforcement. In addition,
by signing or placing an order the client accepts all liability for usage and acknowledges the client will
be billed the commercial usage rate on each image starting at $1,000.00 per image per use. Removal
of the Story Tellers Photography LLC logo / watermark on any online image will constitute acceptance
of a commercial contract. Story Tellers Photography LLC reserves the right to use any image for display,
exhibition, publication, or general promotion and distribution as Story Tellers Photography LLC sees fit.
All images created by Story Tellers Photography LLC remain the exclusive property of Story Tellers
Photography LLC.
